王继刚,教授,博士生导师,国家中医药传承创新团队首席科学家,中国中医科学院青蒿素研究中心副主任/首席研究员,全国青联常委,医药卫生界别委员。课题组结合化学生物学、蛋白质组学、代谢组学、分子生物学以及单细胞测序等相关交叉领域的研究方法、围绕药物的作用靶点及其作用机制展开系统研究。近年来在包括青蒿素在内的中药及天然药物的靶标、作用机理和青蒿素抗药研究等方面取得了一系列研究进展与突破。近年来以通讯/第一作者在Nature Nanotechnology、Nature Communications、Cell Systems、Cell Chemical Biology、Nature Protocols、JACS、Angew. Chem. Intl. Ed.、ACS Central Science、Advanced Functional Materials、ACS Nano、Autophagy、Trends in Pharmacological Sciences、Pharmacology & Therapeutics、Journal of Extracellular Vesicles、Medicinal Research Reviews、 New England Journal of Medicine、Lancet、Lancet Infectious Disease等国际高水平刊物上发表论文200余篇,其中影响因子大于10的100余篇,撰写Methods Enzymol.书籍章节3篇, 获批国家发明专利30余项。同时兼职多种国际权威刊物的编委或审稿人。近年来主持国家中医药传承创新团队项目,国自然面上,科技部重大专项课题,科技部新药创制专项子项目等国家、省市级课题10余项。
Prof. Jigang Wang is a chair professor, and currently serves as a deputy director at Artemisinin Research Center, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. He serves as the standing member of All-China Youth Federation. He is also a member of Medical and Health Community. Prof. Wang’s research group mainly focus on elucidating the drug's target and its mechanism of action by integrating advanced multi-omics technologies including chemical proteomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and single-cell RNA sequencing. In recent years, a series of research progress and breakthroughs have been made by his group, especially in the drug targets and mechanisms of action of Traditional Chinese medicines and natural medicines including artemisinin, and research on artemisinin resistance. . As corresponding authors or first author, hehas been published more than 200 papers (more than 100 papers with IF above 10) in high-profile journals, such as Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Cell Systems, Cell Chemical Biology, Nature Protocols, JACS, Angew. Chem. Intl. Ed., ACS Central Science, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, Autophagy, Trends in Pharmacological Sciences, Pharmacology & Therapeutics, Journal of Extracellular Vesicles, Medicinal Research Reviews, New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, Lancet Infectious Disease. Prof. Wang contributed 3 book chapters on Methods Enzymol., and was granted more than 30 patents. He also serves as an editorial board member or reviewer for several highly impacted journals. In recent years, his research was supported by over more than 10 national, provincial and municipal-level projects such as the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance and Innovation Team Project, NSFC General Project, Major Research Project of Ministry of Science and Technology, and New Drug Creation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, China.
